light spring is the palest, freshest corner of spring: warm colours with a lot of light in them. think peach, buttercream, mint and clear aqua, never anything heavy or dusty.

the colour right next to your face matters most, and for a hijabi that colour is the hijab. these eight come from my textile palette (real fabric colours) and sit closest to the light spring palette. tap a shade to copy its hex code.

usually light skin with a peachy or golden glow, light-to-medium brows, and eyes that look bright rather than deep (light brown, hazel, green, blue). the overall look is soft in depth but clear, not muted.
a light, warm hijab lifts everything: blush, sea glass, soft saffron. keep the darkest colour of the outfit away from your face (camel or soft navy instead of black). pale fabrics with a slight sheen (satin-finish voal) look luminous on you; heavy matte black can look like a shadow.
drape peach and pale pink side by side. peach makes you look rested: light spring. pale pink does: light summer.
if deeper, saturated colours (tangerine, marigold) feel loud rather than lively, you are lighter than warm spring.

rarely next to the face. a black abaya with a cream, peach or sea glass hijab works, because the hijab is the colour that frames your face.
ivory and cream, yes. stark optical white is a little cold; it's fine for a lining, not for a frame.
